Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare support within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering patient care, promoting health and safety initiatives, and supporting employees with their health needs. Duties

  • Provide direct patient care to employees, including first aid and emergency response when necessary.

  • Conduct health assessments and monitor employee health status through regular check\-ups.

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols.

  • Maintain accurate health records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Offer health education programmes focused on injury prevention, wellness, and lifestyle improvements.

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement workplace health policies and safety procedures.

  • Assist in managing occupational health issues such as ergonomic assessments and exposure controls.

  • Support return\-to\-work programmes by assessing fitness for duty and facilitating appropriate accommodations.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse qualification with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

  • Proven experience in patient care, preferably within an occupational or industrial setting.

  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical procedures relevant to workplace health.

  • Competence in medication administration, including handling emergency medications if required.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Compassionate approach with strong communication skills to interact professionally with employees at all levels.

Pay: £50,000\.00\-£55,000\.00 per year
