Occupational Health Business Development Manager

Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Occupational Health Business Development Manager to grow our client portfolio and expand our occupational health and workplace wellbeing services across the Midlands and wider UK market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue through the promotion of occupational health solutions including absence management, health surveillance, wellbeing programmes and case managements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within corporate, SME and public sector,

  • Lead, support, and manage the team, including performance management, coaching, mentoring and target setting..

  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, tenders, outbound sales activity, and industry events

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR professionals, HSE managers, procurement teams, and senior stakeholders

  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and tender responses

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding

  • Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to ensure successful service delivery

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasting reports

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging occupational health opportunities

  • Achieve agreed revenue and growth targets

  • Represent the business at conferences, exhibitions, and networking events

  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Experience using CRM systems
