NVQ2 PHARMACY DISPENSING ASSISTANT

Our Pharmacy is located within Cambridge Avenue Medical Centre in Bottesford, providing excellent service and quality of care to our local community.

We are recruiting a Qualified NVQ2 Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to be part of our established and experienced pharmacy team.

Previous pharmacy experience is required.

PARTIME POSSITION Working THREE TO FOUR days per week (21\-28 HOURS)

Experience creating dosed packaging for vulnerable patients desirable.

The ideal candidate we are looking for will posses such qualities: enthusiastic; able to work flexible hours; willing to learn and have passion to deliver excellent customer service.

Desired character attributes: Attention to detail; planning skills; working well with team mates and performing under pressure.

*Key job role descriptions:*

As a pharmacy dispensing assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day\-to\-day operation of our chemist. You will work under the supervision of our pharmacist to ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. You will also strive to develop excellent customer service; develop accurate knowledge through continuous learning opportunities; understanding customer needs; complete safe and efficient medication dispensing operations; maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with our operational policies and standards.

*Candidate requirements:*

  • Previous pharmacy experience (Required)

  • Good computer skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Customer service experience

  • Reliable attendance and commuting to work
