Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per day
Job Overview:
Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced Nursery Nurses to work across nursery and early years settings in Gloucester. The successful candidates will provide high-quality care and support to young children, helping them develop through play, structured activities and everyday routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children in an early years setting.
- Support children's learning and development through play.
- Assist with communication, language, physical and social development.
- Support daily routines, activities and transitions.
- Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
- Build positive relationships with children and staff.
- Support children with SEN and additional needs where required.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or within an early years setting.
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, caring and reliable approach.
- SEN experience would be desirable but is not essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Reliable daily pay in line with framework guidelines.
- Dedicated consultant supporting you throughout your placement.
