At The Early Years Academy, we’re looking for a dynamic Nursery Manager who brings not only strong operational and leadership skills, but also a commitment to delivering exceptional childcare that truly reflects our ethos of *Belonging, Being, and Becoming*.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading a large, established nursery with a strong team of educators and room leaders
- Overseeing daily operations, ensuring outstanding care, education, and safeguarding standards are upheld at all times
- Driving and maintaining high occupancy and revenue targets, with support from our central team
- Coaching and developing your team through mentoring, appraisals, and ongoing performance management
- Championing curriculum quality, reflective practice, and child\-centred learning that reflects our unique blend of Reggio Emilia, Hygge, Steiner, and Curiosity Approach influences
- Managing nursery budgets, staffing models, and resourcing to ensure financial viability and compliance
- Preparing for and responding to regulatory inspections (Ofsted) with confidence, clarity, and professionalism
- Working in partnership with parents, local authorities, and our leadership team to create a welcoming, nurturing and ambitious nursery community
- A qualified Nursery Manager (Level 3 minimum; ideally with a leadership or management qualification)
- At least 2 years’ experience managing a large nursery setting with multiple rooms and a team of 20\+ staff
- Proven track record of achieving high occupancy levels, strong financial performance, and maintaining excellent quality standards
- Confident in navigating staffing challenges, leading through change, and managing performance with empathy and impact
- Experienced withbudget management, fee forecasting, and reporting on nursery performance
- Up\-to\-date knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted Inspection Framework, and Safer Recruitment
- A natural team leader – calm under pressure, values\-led, and passionate about early years education

Pay: £38,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
