Nursery - Early Years Practitioner

EYFS Level 3 Pre-School Practitioner – Full Time

• Location: Pre-School/Early Years Setting


• Start Date: November 2026


• Hours: Full Days (Monday to Friday, subject to confirmation)


• Contract: Temporary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Level 3 Practitioner to join our team in November. This full-time temporary position involves supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children within a busy pre-school setting, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support children’s learning and development through engaging play-based activities.


• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.


• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and personal care.


• Carry out nappy changing duties where required, following safeguarding and hygiene procedures.


• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.


• Observe and monitor children's progress and contribute to developmental records.


• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare (or equivalent).


• Previous experience working within a pre-school or EYFS setting.


• Comfortable and willing to undertake nappy changing and personal care duties.


• Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
