The Role:
Pumpkin Patch Nurseries are recruiting a Nursery Administrator to join our existing team of friendly nursery staff. We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and proactive administrator to assist with a range of administrative tasks and help to develop the business. You must be able to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks most urgent to the company and directors’ needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

You will assist with the general administration depending on the needs of the nursery to support the Nursery Managers, Operations Director and HR. Duties may include:

• Day to day office support including monitoring emails, answering the phones, doors and booking nursery tours.


• Supporting management to accurately record and update staff compliance and training such as inductions, compliance and first aid.


• Ensuring information data is imputed accurately and recorded appropriately on all systems such as Famly, HR toolkit and Google Drive.


• supporting management with social media including facebook posts.


• supporting management to minute take for meetings, interviews and supervisions and ensuring documents are accurately recorded in the relevant places.


• supporting management with social events, community involvement and charity fundraising.


• Updating staff boards, creating posters using Canva, and helping with the engagement of staff by ensuring boards are presentable and informative.


• Supporting the nursery as a whole to ensure smooth day to day running's.


• Adhering to all policies and procedures and most importantly safeguarding.
