Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Associate to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and looking to develop their clinical skills within a supportive environment. The Nurse Associate will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high\-quality care to patients across various settings.
Duties
- Provide compassionate patient care, including assisting with daily activities and personal hygiene needs
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs accurately and report any changes to senior staff
- Assist in the administration of medications following prescribed protocols
- Support patients in mobility and comfort, ensuring their safety at all times
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Uphold infection control standards and maintain a clean, safe environment in accordance with hospital policies
- Participate in ongoing training programmes to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Carry out routine clinical procedures such as blood pressure checks, wound care, dressings, and health observations.
- Perform venepuncture, and other delegated clinical tasks within competence and training.
- Support patients with long\-term condition monitoring and health promotion activities.
- Assist with immunisation and vaccination programmes as appropriate.
- Provide health education and advice to patients on maintaining healthy lifestyles.
- Accurately record patient information and maintain clinical records.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection prevention, safeguarding, confidentiality, and clinical governance policies.
- Recognise changes in a patient's condition and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Registered Nursing Associate with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of primary care and patient\-centred care principles.
- Competent in using clinical IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Pay: £24,800\.00\-£27,300\.00 per year
