Role Overview

Responsible for the co\-ordination of confirmed events, supporting the Sales Office Manager \& Team in the overall running of events and the general administrative duties for the department.

Supporting the team with pro\-active sales jobs to generate new sales while also replying to general enquiries in the sales inbox.

Key Responsibilities

Non\-Match Events

· Responsible for the co\-ordination of confirmed events from booking to follow up calls.

· To organise and operate all events/tasks, that you are given responsibility for, ensuring the operational efficiency and at all times aiming to exceed the client expectations.

· Ability to construct and present to potential clients, meet clients and conduct stadium show rounds.

· Ability to construct and present proposals to potential clients and customers.

· Microsoft Office Skills essential

· Should have strong administrator experience, ideally in conference/event market (although a successful career in other sectors would be considered)

· Must be interested and understand the conference / meeting / wedding and banqueting market.

· Supporting the sales team by taking payments and upselling to all clients.

· Compiling and delivering weekly business sheets by contacting the clients booked in and effectively liaise/communicate with on\-site operations regarding functions/events.

· Support with the social media strategy to maximise business sales and profitability.

· Maintain accurate client records within the CRM system, including database updates and mailshots.

· Any additional duties that the Sales Manager deems appropriate to set

· Provide administrative support for non\-match events including table plans, menu selections, and name cards.

· Maintain knowledge of non\-match day pricing, packages, and room specifications.

· Support the organisation of internal meetings and bookings.

· Work with the Sales Manager towards monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Skills \& Experience

· Strong administrative and organisational skills.

· Experience in events, hospitality, conference, or sales administration is desirable.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment.

· Professional manner with the ability to represent the organisation positively.

Pay: £26,500\.00\-£28,000\.00 per year

Experience:

  • Administrative: 2 years (required)

  • Microsoft Office: 3 years (required)

  • Sales: 1 year (preferred)
