Founded in Edinburgh in 2017 by four friends from the food and drink industry, the ethos of Company Bakery has always been centred on quality: in our products, in our people, in our relationships, and in everything we do.

Eight years on, we serve Edinburgh, the Lothians, and Glasgow seven days a week, supplying hundreds of cafes, restaurants, caterers, shops and homes, in addition to having our very own café in Musselburgh.

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Nightshift Pastry Baker to join our expanding team. This is a hands\-on, full\-time role working in our dedicated pastry department. You’ll be involved in the pastry\-making process, including:

• baking the large numbers of pastries we create each day


• producing seasonal specials for markets and wholesale


• creating a range of sweet bakes such as brownies, cookies, scones, and cinnamon buns

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a commercial bakery, restaurant, or similar setting (preferred)


• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for baking high volumes overnight


• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production timelines while maintaining high standards


• A strong eye for detail and passion for producing beautiful, consistent products


• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices, including allergen and cross\-contamination protocols

Additional Info

• The night pastry team operates between 7pm\-5am, with 10\-hour shifts


• We run a 4\-day work week, spread across 7 days — weekend work is essential
