Health Care Assistant / Support Worker
Location: Winton Suites by Northcare, Edinburgh
Salary: £13\.75 per hour
Hours: Full\-time hours, 9pm \- 8am 7 nights over 14 day period
Contract: Permanent
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Nightshift Care Assistants to join our team and provide high\-quality support to individuals in Northcare Residences Glasgow . About the Role
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support to residents
- Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
- Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
- Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
- A caring, respectful, and patient approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced care environment
- Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where required
