Hillbrook Grange Care Home is a charity\-run, 35\-bed residential home set within 7 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland in the heart of Bramhall Village, Stockport. The Role

As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing compassionate, person\-centred care and leading by example.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with personal care on a one\-to\-one basis

  • Providing assistance and guidance with daily living activities

  • Developing and implementing personalised care plans alongside the care team

  • Administering medication safely and accurately

  • Supporting residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing

  • Encouraging participation in activities and hobbies with our Activities Co\-ordinator

  • Promoting residents' dignity, privacy, choice and rights at all times

  • Supervising and supporting Care Givers within the team

  • Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a care setting

  • Experience working night shifts within a care environment

  • Ideally, previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar supervisory role

  • Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate records

  • A caring, compassionate and person\-centred approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • The ability to lead, support and mentor Care Givers

  • A commitment to promoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing

  • Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
