Night Porter
We have a fantastic opportunity for a night porter to join the team at The Brook Red Lion Hotel.
We are currently looking for a full time team member.
Reporting to the General Manager, your prime function will be to deliver the highest standards of customer service during the night, be the main point of contact for our guests, overseeing and assisting in the smooth running of the hotel.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
It is important to be a strong team player, with bags of enthusiasm and personality. Previous experience in a front facing customer service environment is essential.
A working knowledge of Hotels would also be an advantage. This role provides a unique opportunity within a successful and expanding organisation, which encourages professional development and offers excellent long\-term career prospects.
What you would be doing on a weekly basis:
\-Overseeing and assisting in the smooth running of all guest related issues .
\-Ensuring all customer complaints are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
\-Bar and food service.
\-The check in of guests informing them of the hotel facilities, parking arrangements, restaurants etc.
\-Checking out guests and processing payments via the appropriate method.
\-Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
\-Cleaning and set up duties.Floor sweeps and security checks
Pay: £12\.71 per hour
