Night Manager/Duty Manager

Overview
We are seeking a professional and dynamic Night Manager/Duty Manager to oversee hotel operations during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent guest service abilities, and relevant experience within the hospitality industry. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all hotel activities during the night shift, ensuring operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.


• Lead and motivate the night team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of service delivery.


• Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact.


• Oversee security procedures, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and hotel property.


• Manage administrative tasks such as reporting incidents, completing shift handovers, and maintaining accurate records.


• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.


• Assist in human resources functions including scheduling, training new staff, and performance management when required.

• Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.


• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.


• Previous hotel experience is highly advantageous.


• Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing and staff development.


• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to facilitate communication with international guests and staff.


• Organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple responsibilities during overnight hours.
