Night Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high\-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well\-being. This role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.


• Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.


• Implement and follow care plans tailored to each resident's needs and preferences.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.


• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well\-being.


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.


• Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.


• Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with residents and team members.


• Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and using care management software.


• A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high\-quality support to individuals in need of assistance.
