Due to continued expansion, Mortgage Advice Bureau are recruiting a highly motivated Account Manager.

Mortgage Advice Bureau is the UK’s largest mortgage network, with access to over 11,000 products from 90 UK lenders. As part of the team at Mortgage Advice Bureau Scotland, you would be working with one of the largest mortgage broking businesses in Scotland.

Mortgage Advice Bureau provide expert mortgage and protection advice to a range of clients, from first time buyers applying through help to buy, to families looking to expand their home, to landlords adding to their portfolio. Our advisers offer advice face\-to\-face, over the phone and, our innovative video call facilities.

We also specialise in new build lending with lasting relationships with builders who place their faith in Mortgage Advice Bureau securing clients mortgages in a swift timescale to meet demands of builder timescales.

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious New Build Lead Qualifier to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the management and qualification of New Build mortgage leads received from our housebuilder partners across the UK. This will be achieved through the conducting of initial fact finding and assessment of mortgage eligibility in line with lender criteria and affordability.

You will effectively and coherently work with our Advisers, Business Development Managers and housebuilder partners to drive customer satisfaction and successful execution of team and company goals. Please note, you may be required to work select weekends due to the needs of the business.

Key responsibilities;

  • Qualification of New Build mortgage leads received from housebuilders across the UK

  • Establish mortgage eligibility through assessment of lender criteria and affordability checks

  • Obtain Agreement in Principle to allow client qualification to housebuilder

  • Primary objective to book appointments for qualified buyers with our Mortgage \& Protection Advisers

  • Ensure Delivery of Service Level Agreements to meet and exceed housebuilder expectations

  • Close management of pipeline clients to maximise lead conversions

  • Collaborate with Senior Business Development Team to ensure timely communication to housebuilders at all times
Please note, ad\-hoc actions (not included above) will be required in line with the needs of the business

Person Requirements

  • Experience in qualification of mortgage leads (New Build experience or Mortgage Admin preferable)

  • Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment

  • Drive, ambition and self\-motivation to achieve set targets

  • Effective time management and prioritisation of tasks

  • Close attention to detail and ‘Right First\-Time’ mentality

  • Customer centric with excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong team player with track record of collaborating with other key stakeholders

  • Ability to work in a regulated environment, CeMAP qualified preferable or working towards

  • Experience of Microsoft suite of products, such as Word, Excel, Teams and ability to adapt quickly to new systems
