What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Network Engineer Lead Expert to join a strategic Data Center transformation program in a complex, large\-scale international environment.
The role is focused on the design, engineering, integration, deployment, and operational support of highly secure, resilient, and scalable network infrastructures.
You will play a key role in defining standards, driving automation, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to evolve enterprise network platforms and ensure alignment with long\-term architectural and security objectives.
- Location: Madrid or Barcelona
- Work Mode: Hybrid (1\-2 onsite days per week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Until 31/12/2026
- Minimum 8\+ years of experience in Network Engineering within international and matrix organizations
- Strong expertise in Data Center network environments and large\-scale transformation programs
- Expert\-level knowledge of Cisco ACI
- Expert\-level knowledge of VMware NSX\-T
- Strong experience in Network Architecture design and integration
- Expert\-level experience in Network Automation (Ansible)
- Expert\-level experience in Network Automation (Terraform)
- Strong programming skills in Python for network automation
- Strong expertise in Network Security technologies and architectures
- Experience in SD\-WAN environments
- Experience in WAN / MPLS infrastructures
- Experience in LAN (wired) environments
- Experience in SASE technologies
- Experience in segmentation and identity\-based network design
- Experience supporting P1 and P2 incidents and leading problem management activities
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable network solutions
- Experience in technical documentation and infrastructure retro\-documentation
- Strong understanding of current networking trends and enterprise transformation challenges
- Experience contributing to operating model definition for network services
- Ability to communicate architectural concepts to senior stakeholders and IT leadership
- Fluent English in a professional environment
