We're looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our growing technology team in London. You'll play a key role in ensuring reliable connectivity, optimising network performance, and supporting business\-critical systems across a modern IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud\-connected network environments.
- Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and network security appliances.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure maximum uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve network faults, outages, and connectivity issues.
- Implement network security best practices, access controls, and firewall policies.
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and technical procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver reliable networking solutions.
- Experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar infrastructure role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking technologies.
- Familiarity with firewalls, network monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise or multi\-site environments is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- SD\-WAN technologies
- Wireless networking
- Network automation using Python, Ansible, or PowerShell
- VMware or virtualised networking environments
- ITIL awareness
