Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. Duties

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise\-level network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPNs, MPLS, and SD\-WAN solutions.

  • Configure and maintain network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Juniper devices, and other hardware components.

  • Implement and support secure remote access solutions using protocols like IPsec, SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP, and VPN technologies.

  • Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk; perform troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues promptly.

  • Manage network security measures including firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, PKI certificates (Cisco ISE), LDAP/Active Directory integration, and encryption protocols.

  • Administer network services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, Load Balancing (F5 or similar), and high availability configurations to ensure seamless operation.

  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Python or Ansible to improve efficiency.

  • Conduct system administration tasks across various operating systems including Windows Server environments, Linux distributions (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu), Solaris, macOS.

  • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams on network installation projects and system upgrades involving VMware vSphere or AWS cloud services (Azure \& AWS).

  • Maintain documentation of network architecture diagrams and procedures; adhere to ITIL best practices for incident management and change control.
Experience
  • Proven experience in designing and managing complex network architectures involving routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP; MPLS; TCP/IP; ETHERNET; QoS; High Availability configurations.

  • Extensive knowledge of network security principles including SSO integrations, SSL/TLS encryption standards, Network Access Control (NAC), IDS/IPS systems.

  • Hands\-on experience with Cisco IOS/IOS\-XE platforms (Cisco ISE), Juniper devices; familiarity with Cisco ASA firewalls is essential.

  • Strong background in system administration across Windows Server environments and Linux distributions such as Debian or CentOS; experience with VMware vSphere or Citrix is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices including automation tools like Ansible; monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG are preferred.

  • Ability to work independently on complex projects involving APIs integration for network management solutions; experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell is desirable.

  • Knowledge of telecommunication systems including VoIP protocols (SIP), SIP trunking; experience supporting SAN storage solutions is a plus.
