We are looking for a new night receptionist for Volkshotel. Do you enjoy working in a creative and international environment and are you a real nocturnal animal? Then you might be the new colleague we are looking for.

Are you:

• A nocturnal animal?


• Fluent in Dutch and English and do you live in Amsterdam (or around)?


• Hospitable, able to work under pressure and representative?


• Flexible and also available at weekends?

Your shift starts at 11\.00 pm. As a night receptionist you are the first point of contact for all guests. You show them around the building, check them in or out and answer all their questions. During your shift, you carry out administrative tasks and reply to incoming emails and answer telephone calls. Furthermore you ensure the security of the building and its visitors, while you are the first person to act in case of a calamity. You write the night report at 7\.00 am and then your shift has finished. Do some exercise after your shift? That is possible. All employees can join the yoga lessons at Volkshotel for free. Or take a dip in our hot tubs and visit the sauna on the eighth floor. You can make use of them for free. You don’t want to go home yet? You don’t have to, as an employee you get a discount on everything (programming, rooms, food \& drink) in the hotel.

• Experience in similar positions and knowledge of MEWS is an advantage.

It concerns an on\-call agreement based on a zero hours contract for two or three nights a week, fixed hours are negotiable. Salary in conformity with the horeca CAO and in accordance with your responsibilities. As an employee of Volkshotel you can stay at the hotel one night per year for free.
