_*]:min-w-0 gap-3"> • Lead senior-level trading conversations and negotiate complex commercial deals, using robust technical judgement to underwrite new business, renewals, and MTAs profitably across mid-market and specialist commercial lines
- Shape and influence strategic broker relationships across the Bristol region, building partnerships that drive growth while maintaining underwriting discipline and portfolio quality
- Collaborate with regional leaders on trading strategies and growth initiatives, leveraging data and insight to make commercially-balanced decisions with genuine visibility and influence
- Coach and develop less experienced underwriters, sharing technical knowledge and supporting capability building across the commercial underwriting team
_*]:min-w-0 gap-3"> • Proven track record in commercial underwriting or broking at mid-market level or above, with strong technical ability to assess complex risks and confidence leading senior stakeholder conversations
- Commercially driven with analytical mindset, able to balance risk, pricing, and broker relationships while delivering profitable outcomes and supporting business growth objectives
- Solid understanding of FCA regulatory requirements with experience (or interest in) coaching junior colleagues; passion for delivering great outcomes for brokers and customers
