Multi\-Skilled Maintenance Engineer \- Birmingham
The rewards
- £50,000 \- £60,000 per year
- Permanent, continental shift pattern — 4 on / 4 off
- 2 x 12\-hour day shifts, 2 x 12\-hour night shifts, followed by 4 days off
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Diagnosing faults and identifying root causes of equipment failures
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce recurring issues
- Contributing to equipment upgrades and installation projects
- Supporting plant start\-ups and shutdown activities
- Managing maintenance documentation and CMMS activity
- Supervising contractors and supporting external service providers where required
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures and permit systems
- Supporting spare parts management and maintenance planning activities
- Experience within manufacturing, process or industrial environments
- Multi\-skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
- Strong fault\-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with hydraulic systems and industrial machinery
- Ability to read engineering drawings and fault\-find systematically
- Experience supporting planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities
- Engineering apprenticeship and/or relevant engineering qualifications preferred
- Experience using CMMS systems advantageous
