Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

E Park and Sons Limited is a leading UK supplier of fresh potatoes to the retail and wholesale sectors.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding, enthusiastic, Engineer to join our team at our state of the art factory in Epworth, Doncaster.

We are looking for a Multi\-skilled Engineer, who is used to working in a fast\-paced environment.

The main purpose of the role is to use both electrical and mechanical engineering skills and experience to attend to breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance and to enhance the performance of our plant and equipment.

The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be:

· To deal with any plant and/or machinery breakdowns in a quick and efficient manner.

· To implement and manage planned preventative and predictive maintenance.

· To refurbish, install, improve and modify plant and machinery, in an agreed and planned manner, in order to minimise downtime and to maintain the equipment in the best possible condition.

· To plan and undertake routine inspections of plant and equipment.

· To adhere to Safe Working Practices and Risk Assessments as required.

· To adhere to the Environmental and Health \& Safety policies in all activities

The following experience, skills and qualities are required:

· Qualification in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline such as HNC, City and Guild's, or a time served apprenticeship

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably within a FMCG / food factory environment

· The ability to work unsupervised efficiently and effectively to consistently meet deadlines

· Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills

· A proactive approach and the ability to investigate and resolve issues to maximise machinery availability, life cycle costs and efficiencies

· IOSH or equivalent (desirable).

· Strong organisational skills and a clear communicator.

· Enthusiasm and commitment to deliver initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Job Offer

· Full\-time, permanent

· Location: Epworth, Doncaster

· 6am to 6pm 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern

· Opportunity for overtime.
