You will be working in the Building Services OU based in The Royal Derby Hospital in where we are responsible for supporting hospitals nationwide, ensuring clean, well-ventilated, and heated spaces that aid patient recovery. We help cut energy use, carbon emissions, and waste costs, drawing on global best practice from over 400 healthcare projects, including the (Royal London, St Bartholomew's, Mansfield, Papworth, Derby).
We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer who will conduct Electrical, Mechanical and System Checks associated with maintaining a compliant environment in the relevant areas in accordance with current legislation
As the Multi Skilled Engineer, you will
- Perform PPMs, statutory compliance tasks and reactive works investigations/repairs on, but not limited to, the Low Voltage electrical systems on site
- Service, test, diagnose and repair process control systems and automatic control devices related to the building services plant and equipment
- Liaise / assist with other services as necessary for the efficient delivery of work activities, workmanship and productivity to comply with the performance standards
- Use provided test and monitoring equipment for the purpose of maintaining engineering system operational performance and to aid fault diagnostics and repair, interrogate and adjust systems to maintain correct operation of plant and equipment

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (including recognised apprenticeship) with an electrical bias
- Excellent team working and problem solving capabilities
- Working knowledge of other building services and trades
- Experience of Engineering Services Maintenance
- Qualified electrician (18th edition)
- Experience of complex electrical installations including UPS and Generators - desirable
