Overview Of Role

Location: Dunstable

Shift Pattern: 12 Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive \& Planned Maintenance: Respond immediately to breakdowns and execute Scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to maximize equipment uptime.


• Fault Finding \& Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults on PLCs , conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, sensors, and servo\-controlled equipment.


• Food Safety \& Hygiene: Adhere Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure food safety standards are met.


• Project Work: Assist with installation, commissioning, and overhauling of new or existing machinery.

• Apprenticeship/Education: Time\-served apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ/City \& Guilds/HNC in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).The Right Person


• Proactive \& Calm: Ability to work under pressure during breakdowns.


• Safety\-First: Strong commitment to safe working practices.


• Team\-Focused: Ability to work with operators and production staff


• Industry Experience: Proven experience in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment, preferably food, beverage, or FMCG.


• Technical Skills: Strong fault\-finding skills on automated systems, VSD motors, and pneumatics/hydraulics.
