<p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of Rentals and Operations, this role plays a key part in ensuring our branch delivers safe, reliable, and well-presented vehicles for our guests. You’ll carry out minor repairs, basic maintenance tasks, vehicle cleaning and preparation, and provide general operational support across the branch.</p>
<p>This position is ideal for someone practical, hands-on, and eager to develop their skills in vehicle maintenance while helping to keep daily operations running smoothly.</p>
<p data-start="133" data-end="309"><strong>WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?</strong></p>
<p data-start="133" data-end="309"><strong>People & Teamwork</strong></p>
<ul>
<li data-start="133" data-end="309">Work collaboratively with the branch team, including cleaning, operations, and maintenance staff.</li>
<li data-start="133" data-end="309">Follow guidance and training provided by senior team members.</li>
<li data-start="133" data-end="309">Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude.</li>
<li data-start="133" data-end="309">Support a culture of teamwork, communication, and safe working practices.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Process & Operations</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Carry out minor vehicle repairs to reduce downtime and improve fleet availability including:
<ul>
<li>Replacing interchangeable panels</li>
<li>Refitting trims and fittings</li>
<li>Basic component swaps (bulbs, wipers, clips, etc.)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Assist with routine maintenance checks such as fluids, tyres, and battery condition.</li>
<li>Maintaining vehicle presentation standards inside and out.</li>
<li>Support vehicle cleaning and preparation workflows when required.</li>
<li>Follow established processes to ensure consistent and reliable results.</li>
<li>Help maintain tools, equipment and ensure work areas are kept in a clean and safe condition.</li>
<li>Clock in/out of jobs accurately and maintain clear job notes.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Suppliers & Parts Handling</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Handle parts responsibly and maintain stock security.</li>
<li>Follow correct procedures for booking out parts used during repairs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Full driving licence. Held for a minimum of 2 years.</li>
<li>Practical, hands-on approach with willingness to learn.</li>
<li>Good attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.</li>
<li>Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.</li>
<li>Basic problem-solving ability and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Physically capable of performing manual tasks.</li>
<li>Nice to have: Experience in a workshop, handyman, cleaning, or vehicle preparation environment.</li>
<li>Nice to have: Basic mechanical knowledge or hobbyist experience</li>
</ul>

<p>This permanent position is offered working Monday to Sunday, 5 days/ 40 hours a week.</p>
<p>Salary £26,500 plus eligibility for the monthly bonus scheme.</p>
