Motor Injury Supervisor
Your new company
Our client is a well-respected defendant firm who are currently recruiting for a Defendant Motor Injury Supervisor to join their Manchester office. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week requirement in the office. There may be a level of flexibility for those further afield.
Your new role
- Oversee and mentor a team of 10-15 litigators handling motor injury claims.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with best practices and client service standards.
- Monitor team performance and support professional development.
- Manage a reduced personal caseload of litigated motor injury claims, including complex and high-value cases.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation.
- Conduct negotiations and attend hearings where required.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurer clients and other stakeholders.
- Provide clear, strategic advice and timely updates on case progress.
- Ensure cases are progressed efficiently and in line with client expectations.
- Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices.
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ+)
- Strong background in defendant motor injury litigation, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Excellent knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes.
- Minimum of 2 years MOJ/OIC portal experience (including non-qualified experience)
- Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior colleagues.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
This is a great opportunity for experienced defendant motor solicitors with previous MOJ/OIC portal and supervisory experience. You can expect to work as part of a high-performing team in a well-respected firm. A competitive salary of up to £55,000 is available and negotiable dependent on experience.
