Are you an experienced Mortgage Advisor looking for a strong lead source and the opportunity to write 10–15 mortgages per month?
We are currently recruiting for a Self-Employed Mortgage Advisor to join our clients' highly successful team in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious advisor to work within a fast-paced environment, benefiting from a steady stream of referrals from local estate agency branches.
With attractive commission splits, strong lead generation, and significant earning potential, this role is ideal for an advisor looking to maximise both their business levels and income.
The Role
As a Self-Employed Mortgage Advisor, you will:
- Provide expert mortgage and protection advice to prospective buyers
- Conduct first appointments and convert opportunities into completed business
- Work closely with estate agency teams to maximise referral opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the mortgage process
- Generate and follow up on new business opportunities
- Manage a high volume of mortgage applications from enquiry through to completion
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance standards
- Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor
- Fully CeMAP qualified
- Proven ability to generate and convert mortgage business
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage both initial appointments and subsequent sign-ups
- Target-driven and commercially minded
- Full UK driving licence
- Realistic OTE of £50,000 – £80,000
- Lead source provided through local estate agency branches
- 50/50 commission split on referred lead business
- 60/40 commission split on self-generated business
- Opportunity to write high volumes of mortgage business
