Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Montessori Teacher to support our early childhood education programme. The ideal candidate will work closely with lead teachers to create a nurturing, organised, and stimulating environment for young children. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childcare and early childhood development to gain valuable experience within a reputable Montessori setting. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing Montessori educational activities and lesson plans
- Support the organisation and maintenance of classroom materials and resources
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well\-being at all times
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages children's independence and curiosity
- Help with daily routines such as mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative learning atmosphere
- Support behavioural management strategies in line with Montessori principles
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development sessions
- Experience in childcare or nursery settings, ideally within an early childhood education environment
- Strong management and organisational skills to maintain classroom orderliness
- Leadership qualities to guide children positively and support team efforts
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of child development principles and Montessori methodology
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and support staff
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting materials or attending off\-site activities
- Passionate about working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for early childhood learning
Pay: £24,420\.00\-£47,332\.28 per year
