Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter to support customers across the North West.

The Role:

  • Reactive and planned maintenance including breakdown, repairs and replacements of motors, gearboxes, conveyors, etc. Strip machine assemblies to component level and rebuild.

  • You'll work on a diverse range of specialist recycling, waste processing and forestry equipment, including shredders, screeners, trommels, chippers, separation systems and material handling equipment from leading manufacturers such as HAAS, JENZ, Pronar and Bruce Engineering

  • The successful candidate would be provided initial and ongoing training with the scope to step up into a Senior Engineer role.

  • Standard hours are 7:30 to 4:30, 42 hours per week

The Person:
  • Background considered: Mobile Plant Fitters, Field Service Engineers, Agricultural Engineers, Quarrying Equipment Engineers, Recycling Equipment Engineers and Heavy Plant Technicians with strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.

  • Previous experience working on shredders, screeners, chippers, separation systems and material handling equipment would be advantageous but not essential

  • Ex Forces candidates are encouraged to apply and will be offered training (REME, Navy, RAF etc)
