Mobile Computers/Printer Service Engineer (Midlands Based)

Maxim Computer Services are an IT solution provider based in Hednesford, South Staffordshire, specialising in the automotive, warehousing and manufacturing industries within the UK. We are looking for a self\-motivated and driven individual to join our team, to help fulfil our growing requirements within the company. Initially you will be working alongside experienced team members to repair, maintain and install our products, either at our workshop or at customer sites across the UK. This is a customer facing role where exceptional customer service is required in a varied and interesting role. Full training on our products will be given to the successful candidate. Salary will be dependent on experience. We operate a Business Mileage Rate scheme.

Our office work hours are 9\.00 \- 17:30 Monday\-Friday, however, business travel requirements may require working outside of these hours during the week.

Requirements

• Preferably you will have experience in a field service/IT support role in printers and mobile handheld devices, both hardware and software.


• A willingness to learn about the industry, products and services, and using our internal systems.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• Must be confident in multi\-tasking and prioritising workloads within a varied role.


• Clear English communication skills both written and verbal.


• Ability to remain calm under pressure and problem solve time\-sensitive issues.


• A friendly, professional manner towards customers, suppliers and colleagues is essential.

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

• field service/IT support role: 1 year (preferred)

• FULL, UK CLEAN DRIVING (preferred)
