ML Research Engineer

We're recruiting ML Research Engineer (m/f) to strengthen our team in Europe, with the possibility of remote work.

What we're looking for:

• PhD or MSc in a STEM field (preference for PhD in Computer Science);


• 4\+ years of experience (minimum) combining Machine Learning research and engineering;


• Proven experience taking models from experimentation to production;


• Hands\-on experience with LLM fine\-tuning, post\-training techniques (SFT, RLHF), and model evaluation in production environments;


• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (TypeScript is a plus);


• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD;


• Experience establishing engineering standards within research\-oriented teams and mentoring researchers on production best practices;


• Ability to thrive in fast\-paced and ambiguous environments, balancing rapid iteration with high quality and safety standards;


• Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge research and engineering teams effectively;


• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and agentic workflows;


• Knowledge of cloud\-native AI platforms such as GCP/Vertex AI or AWS/SageMaker;


• Experience working in startup environments (valued);


• Published research in ML, NLP, or related areas (valued);


• Fluent English communication skills.

• Flexibility in work regime (remote);
