Job Summary
We are on behalf of one of our clients who is a leading international trading company who just set up a office in Manchester, seeking a dynamic and innovative MKT Branding Manager to lead the development and execution of our brand strategy. The successful candidate will oversee brand positioning, manage marketing campaigns, and enhance our market presence through strategic communication and creative initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the visual identity and perception of our organisation across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
Responsibilities
- Manage the sourcing, negotiation and procurement of offline media placements, including billboards, bus advertising and advertising.
- Lead commercial negotiations, project tracking and end\-to\-end delivery for large\-scale marketing initiatives such as sports sponsorships, music festivals and branded events.
- Identify and engage local influencers, negotiate partnership terms, manage contracts and maintain an up\-to\-date influencer database.
- Source, evaluate and manage suppliers across advertising, events and influencer marketing, continuously improving resource quality and partnership effectiveness.
- Oversee procurement budgets and cost management, assess project outcomes and proactively identify and mitigate partnership risks.
- Monitor contract execution, resolve operational challenges and ensure the successful delivery of all projects.
- Conduct research into the UK marketing landscape, develop and maintain a network of high\-quality resources, and support ongoing brand marketing activities.
- Requirements
- Native\-level English proficiency with extensive experience living and working in the UK. Strong understanding of UK culture, consumer behaviour and marketing practices, supported by an established local professional network and full right to work in the UK.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with demonstrated experience in media buying, procurement or commercial partnerships, and a strong understanding of the UK marketing industry.
- Good knowledge of outdoor advertising, transit media, sports sponsorships and influencer marketing, including their operational processes and commercial models.
- Excellent negotiation, budget management and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Established relationships with UK media owners, event organisers and influencers are highly desirable. Experience supporting international brands in overseas markets would be advantageous.
