Mixed Tax Manager
A highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Bolton is looking to strengthen its tax team with the appointment of a Mixed Tax Manager, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. This is a fantastic chance for a Tax Manager to take ownership of a varied portfolio, covering both compliance and advisory work across personal and corporate tax. You will play a key role in managing client relationships, reviewing the work of junior team members, and identifying opportunities to add value for clients through tax planning.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
- Manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
- Review tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff
- Identify tax planning opportunities to add value for clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support and mentor junior members of the tax team
- CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge across personal and corporate tax
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage a team and review the work of others
- Flexible working arrangements
