Mixed NHS and Private Associate Dentist
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice for a provisional start date of 3rd July 2026\. We are a two surgery practice in an affluent region in North London. We are accepting full time or part time Mixed NHS \& Private Associate Dentists, to be remunerated at between £12\-13 per UDA dependant on experience. We have onsite ITERO digital scanners and CBCT/OPG machine, supporting professional growth of our Associates. The Principal Dentist will offer mentoring and is a high profile Implant and Endodontic Dentist who undertakes Medicolegal work.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high\-quality dental care, ensuring patient satisfaction, and maintaining the clinic’s excellent standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical skills and medical imaging tools.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments.
- Utilise CAD (Computer\-Aided Design) technology for designing dental prostheses such as crowns and bridges.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long\-term oral health.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Keep abreast of advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuous professional development.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing dental restorations.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dentistry, including jaw structure, teeth, and soft tissues.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as X\-rays and intraoral cameras to assist diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex procedures clearly and empathetically to patients.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
