Join our Logistics team as a Mid or Senior Software Engineer – Python (m/f/d) at our Berlin headquarters (hybrid work model) and help build the technology that powers the movement of millions of second\-hand products, contributing directly to a more sustainable future.

Your mission
----------------

• Redesign the warehouse management systems and processes using robotics and modern technologies


• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable services using Python, Django and FastAPI


• Conceptualize and improve our software architecture


• Understand and solve complex business requirements


• Take ownership of services and technical decisions, and actively contribute to agile ceremonies


• Share your expertise, support knowledge sharing, and improve engineering practices


• Write RFCs for the decisions and maintain Architecture Decisions Records

• Python, Django, FastAPI


• Celery


• MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB


• GitLab, CI/CD


• Docker, Kubernetes


• React, TypeScript


• Google Cloud


• TDD, DDD, Playwright

• Several years of professional experience with Python and Django or FastAPI


• Proven experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies, preferably GCP


• Experience using AI\-assisted development tools to deliver software efficiently while maintaining high\-quality standards


• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments


• Passion for testing, clean architecture, and clean code


• Fluent in English and great communication skills for discussions and code reviews


• Please note: We can only accept applications with a valid work permit

• Flexible working hours: We follow a hybrid work model with 20 in\-office days per quarter to foster important personal interaction while enabling a modern, flexible way of working. The remaining days can be worked from home, and you also have the option to spend up to 6 weeks per year working from countries within EU. You’ll also benefit from flexible working hours to fit your individual needs.


• Individual work environment: Design your ergonomic workspace just the way you like it – with height\-adjustable desks and the laptop of your choice (MacBook or ThinkPad). If things get a bit noisy in the office, your Bose noise\-cancelling headphones ensure uninterrupted focus. If needed, we can also provide you with an ergonomic chair or additional monitors for your home office.
