About The Position

Micro\-Kitchen Attendant

*Full\-time (40h a week)* \- *Mon\-Fri*

The Micro\-Kitchen Attendant is responsible for the management and upkeep of the employee break areas, referred to as "micro\-kitchens" within the client site. This role involves ensuring the areas are always well\-stocked, maintained, and presented in an inviting manner. The MK Attendant will also be tasked with managing the functionality of various kitchen appliances, maintaining cleanliness, and interacting with employees to ensure a pleasant and efficient break area experience. The role also includes proactively monitoring stock levels, managing orders, and suggesting improvements to continuously enhance the micro\-kitchen offerings.



Essential Functions:

  • Micro\-Kitchen Setup and Replenishment:
Set up and regularly restock the micro\-kitchen areas with snacks, beverages, and other items throughout the day to ensure continuous availability.
  • Appliance Management:
Ensure the smooth operation of coffee machines, kettles, and other kitchen appliances provided to employees. Regularly perform maintenance and cleaning to keep these machines in top working condition.
  • Space and Equipment Maintenance:
Clean and organize shelves, refrigerators, and other kitchen areas, ensuring everything is neat, hygienic, and well\-presented.
  • Merchandising Compliance:
Ensure adherence to merchandising guidelines by checking display shelves and labels to maintain consistency with the client's standards and branding.
  • Stock Management:
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for stock replenishment, and ensure that all products are always available in sufficient quantities.
  • Employee Consumption Monitoring:
Track and anticipate employee consumption patterns, ensuring that popular items are always available while avoiding overstocking.
  • Client Standard Adherence and Continuous Improvement:
Follow client\-imposed standards while actively suggesting and implementing improvements to the offerings in the micro\-kitchen to enhance the employee experience.
  • Workshops and Events:
Occasionally host workshops or events, such as coffee tastings or new product demonstrations by suppliers, to engage employees and introduce them to new offerings.
  • Clear Communication with Clients:
Ensure seamless and professional communication with clients, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
  • Hygiene and Safety Compliance:
Adhere to strict hygiene and safety guidelines in all aspects of the role, ensuring a clean and safe environment for employees.
  • Mutual Respect and Communication:
Foster a culture of mutual respect and effective communication within the team, even during intense and demanding service periods. Ensure respectful communication with each other and with the client, maintaining professionalism and striving to create a harmonious work environment.
  • Support during service and/or events :
Assist with the setup and breakdown of internal company events when needed, ensuring smooth logistics and an organized space.

Provide support during breakfast time and lunchtime services as well as the café if neededAn empty job that is used for creating requisitions 'from scratch'

Requirements

Skills and abilities :

  • Punctuality, strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent adaptability.

  • Ability to move throughout the café and kitchen in a safe manner.

  • Ability to handle kitchen equipment and tools safely.
Additional Requirements:
  • Follow and apply the company's existing procedures and standards to ensure consistency across operations.

  • Adhere to the schedule provided by the supervisor, ensuring to clock in and out as required at the company's designated timekeeping system.
