About the Opportunity:
As MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of mechanical, electrical and public health packages throughout the project lifecycle, from pre\-construction and procurement through to commissioning, testing and final handover.
Working closely with contractors, consultants, specialist suppliers and client stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring critical systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.
MEP Project Manager \- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of MEP packages on complex data centre developments across Europe.
- Manage mechanical, electrical, BMS, fire protection and specialist systems contractors.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and drive collaboration across all stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance against programme, budget, quality and safety objectives.
- Review technical documentation and ensure designs are coordinated prior to installation.
- Oversee commissioning activities, integrated systems testing and project handover processes.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Chair coordination meetings and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant European standards, regulations and health \& safety requirements.
- Support commercial management activities including change control and scope management.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing MEP packages on large\-scale construction or mission\-critical projects.
- Previous data centre experience, ideally within hyperscale or colocation environments.
- Strong understanding of critical infrastructure systems including power distribution, cooling systems, backup power solutions, fire protection and building management systems.
- Experience managing contractors and subcontractors throughout delivery and commissioning phases.
- Knowledge of European construction practices and project delivery frameworks.
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using project planning and reporting tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Pay: £75,000\.00\-£95,000\.00 per year
