Mental Health \& Learning Disability Support Worker
We’re looking for a compassionate, reliable Support Worker to empower adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities to live independently in their supported living project or homes and thrive in their community.
What you’ll do
Provide person‑centred support in daily living, wellbeing, and community engagement
Promote choice, dignity, and independence
Support individuals with routines, social activities, emotional wellbeing and medication
Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and the wider team
Report to management
Keep clear, accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
Be able to receive and convey information both orally and written
What we’re looking for
Register with Social Care Wales and willing to work towards level 2/3 in health and social care.
Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills
Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings/weekends
Experience in care or support (desirable but not essential)
Willingness to complete training and develop professionally
