Meetings & Events Senior Coordinator
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Meetings \& Events Coordinator to join our busy Meetings \& Events team at the Coppid Beech Hotel. *Previous experience is essential and applications without relevant experience will not be considered.*
This is a hands on senior role where you’ll take ownership of events from initial enquiry through to delivery, ensuring every detail is managed to a high standard and every client receives an exceptional experience.
You’ll be joining us at an exciting time as our multi\-million\-pound refurbishment continues across the hotel.
What you’ll be doing...
As a senior member of the team, you’ll take responsibility for managing the events journey while supporting the wider team.
- Handling enquiries from initial contact through to final delivery
- Meeting clients to understand their requirements
- Preparing quotes, confirming bookings and managing all event details accurately
- Coordinating suppliers
- Overseeing the smooth delivery of events, ensuring high standards throughout
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients before, during and after events
- Supporting and mentoring team members where required
- Previous experience working within a hotel or conference centre environment is essential for this role and experience in sales would also be advantageous
- Strong background in events coordination, hospitality or sales
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Experience with hotel systems such as Opera is an advantage (training provided)
