We are currently looking for a successful and enthusiastic Meeting \& Events Executive to oversee events from conception through to completion. Event Executive responsibilities include providing excellent customer service and organising memorable moments that meet the highest expectations.

\- Operate and maintain a computerized system (Opera) for responding, coordinating and tracking sales enquiries, bookings and availability

\- Meet prospective clients for show arounds for weddings, private and corporate functions

\- Ensure a prompt and professional response and follow up on sales enquiries

\- Generate quotations for prospective bookings and timely follow ups

\- Liaise with clients in relation to coordinating the key details of their events

\- Coordinating with the operations team in relation to existing and new bookings

\- Monitor, coordinate and communicate event bookings, ensuring accuracy of billing information

\- Meet and greet all clients during the event phase and ensure the smooth running of it

\- Managing of customer feedback including responding to guest complaints and problems relating to weddings and events

\- Attend workshops, exhibitions and promotional events where required

\- Work closely with the other member of the events team

\- Recognize and maximize revenue opportunities by up selling and offer enhancements to create outstanding events

\- Adhere to Health \& Safety policy and other company procedures

*Skills and Knowledge:*

\- Effective sales skills to up\-sell products and services

\- Knowledge of room set ups, menu planning, food presentation, wedding, banquet and event service operations

\- Strong customer service skills

\- Knowledge of overall hotel operations

· Strong presentation skills

· A team player

· Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language

· Strong problem\-solving skills

· Strong customer excellence and relation skills

· Strong organisational skills

· Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems

*Remuneration and other requirements:*

\- Competitive salary including meal on duty with a complimentary membership to our Health and Leisure Club

\- Attend any training courses set out by the Hotel

\- Abide by Health \& Safety policies and procedures

\- To perform other duties and have basic knowledge of all sales roles to meet business needs

\- To carry out any reasonable requests by Management

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: From €30,000\.00 per year
