In this Medical Affairs role, you will serve as a scientific expert responsible for nonpromotional scientific exchange, insight gathering, and strategic engagement with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals. These qualities position you for success as a Medical Science Liaison with Syneos Health.

Responsibilities

The Medical Science Liaison is a field\-based, scientific, and clinical expert who strategically supports the medical and scientific objectives of the program. Key aspects of this role will include engaging in peer\-to\-peer scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals that translate into meaningful insights while serving as a therapeutic expert.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Establish, cultivate, and maintain strategic scientific relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals while developing a strong understanding of clinical practice and evolving therapeutic landscapes


• Execute nonpromotional scientific exchange and communicate clinical and scientific data through presentations, educational programs, and scientific discussions


• Serve as a therapeutic and scientific resource for healthcare professionals by addressing unsolicited medical questions and facilitating meaningful scientific dialogue


• Gather, analyze, and communicate actionable medical insights to support Medical Affairs strategy, evidence generation, and cross functional collaboration


• Maintain deep scientific and clinical expertise through continuous learning, scientific literature review, and awareness of emerging data and treatment trends


• Collaborate with Medical Affairs colleagues and cross functional including the Clinical team internal stakeholders to provide scientific expertise in support of internal and external initiatives


• Support congress activities, advisory boards, and other medical education initiatives as appropriate


• Responsibility for building out referral networks

Requirements:

Along with your ability to remain at the forefront of your field, you must possess:

• Advanced degree required (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD)


• Prior Medical Science Liaison experience


• Deep scientific knowledge and genuine passion for Neurology \& Rare Disease


• Epilepsy \& Pediatrics nice to have


• Experience engaging healthcare professionals in scientific exchange preferred


• Ability to interpret \& communicate complex clinical \& scientific data


• Strong presentation, communication, \& collaboration skills


• Willingness to travel


• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car and air
