Accountabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and clinical experts through regular scientific engagement and field interactions.
- Conduct scientific discussions and facilitate non-promotional medical exchanges to support the understanding and application of clinical evidence.
- Represent the organization at regional and international congresses, conferences, and scientific meetings, serving as a key medical affairs ambassador.
- Deliver high-quality scientific and medical education programs to surgeons and healthcare professionals through both in-person and virtual formats.
- Gather actionable medical insights from the field and communicate findings to internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and identify emerging opportunities.
- Respond to scientific and medical inquiries with accurate, evidence-based information while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the development of scientific content, presentations, publications, abstracts, and educational materials for internal and external audiences.
- Provide scientific expertise and clinical input to support cross-functional initiatives involving Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, and Medical Education teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between medical strategy, educational initiatives, and business objectives.
Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in a scientific, medical, or healthcare-related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, or similar scientific field-based roles within the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Experience in breast aesthetics, reconstructive surgery, cosmetic procedures, or related therapeutic areas is highly desirable.
- Strong scientific acumen with the ability to interpret, communicate, and discuss complex clinical data effectively.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to engage and influence healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining trusted external relationships within the medical community.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and thrive in a highly autonomous field-based environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe, with travel requirements of up to 70%.
- Fluent English language skills are required; additional European languages are considered an asset.
