We are currently seeking to recruit a Medical Emergency Department Registrar \- Full Time for a July 2026 start

Key responsibilities:

Act under the supervision of the Emergency Medicine Consultants in the provision of an Emergency Medicine service and to support the Consultants in their duties.

Be responsible for the safe and efficient assessment of Emergency patients (triage, orders and following up on results).

Liaise effectively and in a timely manner in relation to patient referrals.

Ensure all patients are appropriately dealt with at the end of the shift which may include discharged home, admitted, transferred elsewhere or treatment arranged for another time.

Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team within the department and Hospital.

Requirements for the above post:

Bachelor of Medicine with at least 2 years ED Experience.

Registration with Irish Medical Council

Irish healthcare experience preferrable.
