Mechanical QAQC Engineer

Sensori is seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Mechanical QAQC Engineer to join our growing QAQC team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering quality excellence across major multi\-discipline projects. Working alongside experienced quality professionals, you will gain hands\-on exposure to the full QAQC process and help shape the quality culture on site from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Quality Manager and Project Team to achieve contract quality objectives.


• Report to quality manager/lead and collaborate with site team.


• Support implementation of the quality vision, goals, and strategies.


• Identify and support production of quality department contractual and company deliverables.


• Verify implementation of contractual requirements.


• Work with commercial and procurement teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded within applicable Purchase Orders and Contracts.


• Review, endorse, and monitor Vendor/Contractor deliverables and documentation.


• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).


• Support implementation of project procedures and processes.


• Oversee Contractor quality\-related documentation, ensuring compliance with specification requirements.


• Plan and perform quality audits and assessments of Vendors, Contractors, and their subcontractors.


• Plan and perform internal audits at key stages of work delivery.


• Raise non\-conformances (NCRs) when out\-of\-specification conditions are identified and support resolution and close\-out.


• Report non\-conformances and corrective actions with documented evidence and recommendations.


• Review project deliverables (work packs, test packs) to ensure quality requirements are incorporated.


• Produce weekly and monthly reports and manage KPI information.


• Ensure all documentation and certification is complete prior to final handover.


• Utilise Dalux and clients cx platform for managing quality issues and documentation.


• Attend Quality, Construction Whiteboard, and Weekly meetings.


• When required, chair and record minutes of Quality meetings and distribute to the project audience.


• Assist in creating and offering up benchmarks via digital platform Dalux..

• Oversee mechanical installation quality including pipework, pressure vessels, rotating equipment, HVAC, fire suppression systems/sprinkler and structural steelwork.


• Review and verify mechanical inspection and test plans (ITPs) specific to mechanical scopes.


• Witness and document mechanical testing activities including pressure testing, NDT, and hydrostatic testing.


• Review mechanical vendor/subcontractor documentation including material test certificates, technical submittals, weld records, and CE marking documentation.


• Monitor compliance with ASME, PED, and other applicable mechanical codes and standards.


• Oversee preservation activities for mechanical equipment during storage and installation phases.


• Support modular build quality surveillance and factory acceptance testing (FAT).

• Minimum 5 years' experience on large multi\-discipline projects with significant mechanical scope.


• Hands\-on experience with pipework, welding inspection, mechanical equipment, HVAC and structural steelwork.


• Demonstrable experience with mechanical testing, pressure testing, and NDT activities.


• Experience reviewing and approving mechanical ITPs, weld procedures (WPS/PQR), and material certificates.


• Thorough understanding of CE marking requirements and mechanical equipment standards (ASME, PED).


• Experience with preservation activities and modular build quality surveillance.


• A basic knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015\.

• Experience in implementing quality processes and procedures across multi\-discipline projects.


• Familiarity with Autodesk BIM360, Dalux, cX Alloy, Nexus or equivalent quality management and client platforms.


• Experience in modular build environments.
