Sensori is hiring a Mechanical Project Manager to lead on\-site delivery of projects. You will own planning, execution, safety, quality, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and final handover for mechanical packages, working closely with program management, engineering, operations, and supplychain partners.
Core responsibilities
- Manage design review, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems and enclosures for assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain the site programme in line with the project plan, engineering milestones, and client requirements; monitor critical path and adjust resources to meet targets.
- Control all costs for your scope, including internal mechanical teams, subcontractors, materials, plant and equipment, variations, and valuations.
- Coordinate daily activities, resolve site issues, and ensure efficient deployment of labour and plant.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Sensori EHS lead to create, maintain, and close the project safety file and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Promote and enforce Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across your team and subcontractors.
- Set up, maintain, and close site QA documentation in collaboration with Sensori's QA lead.
- Track progress, manpower, and performance; chair and minute weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors.
- Operate the inprogress snagging system; ensure supervisors issue weekly punch lists and distribute actions to subcontractors.
- Submit direct labour and subcontractor hours for central tracking and reporting.
- Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning sessions, and handover meetings as the site delivery representative.
- Deliver final account, O\&M manuals, punch lists, safety and QA files, material and plant relocations, and final project documentation with the project team.
- Produce internal weekly roll\-ups showing percent complete by WBS, risks, and KPI status; issue external weekly updates to the Project Manager highlighting delays, design shortages, thirdparty holdups, and percent complete.
- Schedule and track material deliveries to align with the programme and maintain a weekly photographic diary of site progress.
- Other duties \- perform additional tasks required to ensure successful project delivery.
- Trade qualification and/or relevant thirdlevel engineering or technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years' project management experience delivering medium\-to\-large mechanical installation projects.
- Strong practical understanding of mechanical systems and good working knowledge of electrical interfaces on site.
- Experience with integrated designandbuild delivery models.
- Experience handling workforce relations and site labour issues.
- Demonstrable knowledge of site H\&S practices and statutory compliance.
- Proficient with scheduling tools, project reporting systems, and standard office software.
- Clear, concise communicator able to lead meetings, write reports, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and drive largescale site programmes to completion.
- Leadership \- ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
- Commercial awareness \- strong cost control, variation management, and valuation skills.
- Organisational skills \- excellent planning, prioritisation, and recordkeeping.
