<p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a proactive and skilled <strong>Mechanical Leader </strong>to oversee the operations of our workshop. The ideal candidate will coordinate a team of mechanics, establish repair priorities, manage spare parts and stocks, and maintain budgetary control, all while upholding high standards of quality and safety.</p>

<p><strong>WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Team Management:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.</li>
<li>Provide hands-on guidance and training to ensure team members develop technical skills and adhere to company standards.</li>
<li>Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Workshop Operations:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Plan, prioritize, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.</li>
<li>Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues or complex repairs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Inventory and Spare Parts Management:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs.</li>
<li>Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement and negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate inventory records and implement cost-control measures.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Budget and Reporting:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Track and report on workshop performance metrics, including repair turnaround times and budget adherence.</li>
<li>Propose improvements in processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Safety and Compliance:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.</li>
<li>Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?</strong></p>

<li>Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in campervans or similar vehicles.</li>
<li>Knowledge of stock and spare part management systems.</li>
<li>Budget management experience and a results-oriented approach.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
</ul>
