Traditionally in the areas of decommissioning and waste management, NSG now has a broad customer base and provides a wide spectrum of services across the nuclear project lifecycle, ranging from expert consultancy support, R\&D and engineering design to rekit and refurbishment, site installation services and high\-hazard physical decommissioning works, amongst others. This work is delivered at NSG’s own offices and purpose\-built facilities and nuclear sites across the UK. The delivery and management of these projects and programmes of work is carried out by a skilled workforce composed of both white\-collar and blue\-collar personnel in technical, administrative, and physical roles.

The Role
To competently perform plant operations, installations, handling, assembly, dismantling and other activities on equipment or within the site environment, and as instructed by Site Supervisor; within AWE facilities. Complete and maintain as necessary all associated records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills
Must be eligible for UK Security clearance \- DV \- Must hold a British passport and been a resident of the UK for the past 10 years
Advanced apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or BTEC
CSCS card for relevant trade
Manufacture and fitting of mechanical parts \& assemblies
Familiar with site / factory work environments
Work experience within engineering, science or construction environment
Able to organise and prioritise own work
Able to read and write messages, interpret and carry out instructions
