Traditionally in the areas of decommissioning and waste management, NSG now has a broad customer base and provides a wide spectrum of services across the nuclear project lifecycle, ranging from expert consultancy support, R\&D and engineering design to rekit and refurbishment, site installation services and high\-hazard physical decommissioning works, amongst others. This work is delivered at NSG’s own offices and purpose\-built facilities and nuclear sites across the UK. The Role

​

To competently perform plant operations, installations, handling, assembly, dismantling and other activities on equipment or within the site environment, and as instructed by Site Supervisor; within AWE facilities. Complete and maintain as necessary all associated records and documentation

Qualifications and Skills

Must be eligible for UK Security clearance \- DV \- Must hold a British passport and been a resident of the UK for the past 10 years

​

Advanced apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or BTEC

CSCS card for relevant trade

Manufacture and fitting of mechanical parts \& assemblies

Familiar with site / factory work environments

Work experience within engineering, science or construction environment

Able to organise and prioritise own work

Able to read and write messages, interpret and carry out instructions​
