Mechanical Engineer – Static Equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience handling static equipment for the petrochemical and/or oil and gas industry.


• Strong knowledge of static equipment, ASME codes, and pressure vessel design software (PV ELITE and/or COMPRESS).


• Knowledge of FEA calculations.


• Knowledge of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.


• English level required.

• 100% on\-site in Spain.

Preparation of purchase requisitions

Design and calculation of equipment (engineering drawings)

Technical evaluation of bids

Review of supplier drawings

Technical knowledge

Principal duties

• Perform detailed, conceptual, and basic engineering related to pressure vessels.


• Prepare technical evaluations, material sheets, datasheets, and related documentation.


• Prepare man\-hour estimates and develop detailed work planning.


• Collaborate with clients, third parties, and project/site disciplines.


• Coordinate interdisciplinary clarifications of technical offers and supplier meetings.
