Mechanical Engineer Machines

We have released a new fully automated reconfigurable mould to the market. Our mould solution removes a huge amount of waste from the manufacturing process and we are very proud of it!

Now we are looking for a practical mechanical engineer to develop the design, supervise building the machines, and install them at the customer’s site all over the world. If you are an engineer that also wants to work with your hands, this is the position for you!

General description

The role Mechanical Engineer is to design and deliver products according to the requirements and specification of the customer. This person has the following qualities:

• Can perform both the design as the practical side of realising the design


• Happy to be in the lead \- is willing to go the extra mile to achieve the deadline


• Listens to, and is personable with, the client

The main tasks and performance areas of the function is as follows:

• Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications with customers and managers


• Design and development of products using the necessary software tools including 3D Rhino


• Supervise and support the build of the machines, including performing the Factory Acceptance Test


• Installation of the machines at the customer’s site and performing the Site Acceptance Test


• Producing and implementing designs and work procedures


• Testing, evaluating, modifying and re\-testing of components


• Writing reports and documentation


• Providing technical advice to the customer

• At least 2\+ years' experience in mechanical engineering in areas relevant to building machines/equipment


• Knowledge of production techniques such as machining, sheet metal cutting or assembly


• Experienced user of 3D CAD Software


• Willingness to travel to customers


• Knowledge of 3D printing software and tools is an advantage


• Demonstration of a supervisory/leadership role is a plus but not necessary


• Excellent command of English


• Living in the Netherlands, within 30 km radius from Alphen aan den Rijn
